Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or birth date entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request under its own rules. Glynn County Warrant Records does not retain or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
Email messages are retained as needed to prepare a response. They remain within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Loading a page causes the server to receive limited technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookie files and analytics services help measure aggregate traffic, popular pages, and exit points. Browser controls can block cookies, though doing so may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site neither hosts nor sells a database of warrants or personal warrant records. It publishes general routing information for Glynn County courts and the Glynn County Sheriff's Office. Georgia has no single public statewide warrant-search system. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or dossiers about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Independent companies power the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern submitted data. Review the applicable provider policy before entering a query.
Links to Other Websites
Throughout the site we link to sheriff's office pages, court portals, statewide warrant systems, legal aid groups, and third-party search tools. Clicking any of those links takes you off our site. At that point, their privacy policy governs your visit. Read it before sharing any personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures protect collected data, but no internet system can guarantee perfect safety or rule out every unauthorized disclosure.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Notice of a minor's submitted data will prompt a deletion review.
Your Data Rights
Georgia law, including applicable consumer-protection rules and the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. Section 50-18-70 et seq., may affect access to information held by public agencies. Those public-record rules do not turn this private site into a government custodian. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
